Developer Certification

Measure secure development activity for individuals and organizations.

Developer Analytics requires a connected Git account. Select a repository and a supported period: today, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years. The page combines commit and pull-request activity with the Advanced Developer Certification score.

The score ranges from 0 to 1000; higher values indicate better code quality and fewer security vulnerabilities per commit under the product’s scoring model. Use the underlying findings and activity data when evaluating a change or training need rather than treating the score as a standalone guarantee.

Org Admins can select members and use Organizational Analytics for member-level views and leaderboards. Other roles do not receive organization-wide access.

The offering connects repository contribution activity with the available security assessment. Commits, pull requests and code activity describe the work over a selected period; findings and the certification score provide security-related context for that work.

This is useful for a developer reviewing their recent contribution pattern or an authorized administrator identifying areas for secure-development training. A score should initiate an evidence-based discussion, not replace the underlying reports or an assessment of the contributor’s responsibilities.

Individual analytics remain tied to the connected Git account, selected repository and period. Organization administrators have additional member selection and broader analytics views. Those permissions do not make every member’s data visible to every signed-in user.

When comparing periods or members, account for repository scope, available scans and the work performed. A change in the score alone does not explain whether a particular issue was introduced, fixed or reclassified.

Advanced Developer Certification is a Pervaziv product score based on the available development and security metrics. It is not an external accreditation or a guarantee that a contributor’s code has no vulnerabilities.

The Developer Certification launch describes the connection between contributor activity, security findings and organization insight.
