Mobile
Cortex Mobile
Use Cortex on iPhone and Android, with secure continuity across devices.
Cortex Mobile brings Cortex conversations, approved enterprise services and workflow progress to iPhone and Android. It supports capturing a question, reviewing supporting information and continuing a task when you are away from your development environment.
Get started
Section titled “Get started”Install the app using the buttons above and sign in with your Pervaziv account. Follow the Android or iPhone guide, then start a chat or restore an existing conversation.
Conversations built for mobile work
Section titled “Conversations built for mobile work”The app includes saved chats, message editing and retry, and separate pasted code or text blocks that can be previewed before sending. Fast, Balanced and Deep response modes let you choose the level of reasoning for the request. Assistant answers can be read aloud, and voice input provides an alternative to typing with microphone permission.
Documents, source files and images can be attached from the composer. The app checks supported types, size and attachment-count limits. Chat and message exports are available as PDF, Markdown or plain text, with the operating system share sheet for choosing a destination.
Enterprise context and security workflows
Section titled “Enterprise context and security workflows”The MCP selector connects eligible conversations to approved enterprise services. Connected information can help explain an issue, investigate a customer request or prepare the next engineering step. The service identity, scopes and organization controls determine what is available.
Eligible accounts can initiate security workflows, including AI Threat Model and AI Security Review. Mobile makes those workflows accessible for review and follow-up; file access and execution remain tied to the supported task and its connected environment.
Follow work beyond the phone
Section titled “Follow work beyond the phone”The workflow task center shows supported approvals, progress and results for connected tasks. With Cortex Connect, an objective can reach an available development workspace. Cortex Cloud can continue eligible work in a managed environment and return validation or release evidence to the conversation.
For example, a user can capture an issue on mobile, add the relevant context, and follow the task while the project work runs in the selected environment. The phone supplies the conversation and review surface; the chosen execution target supplies the project tools.
A mobile workspace, not a replacement desktop
Section titled “A mobile workspace, not a replacement desktop”Mobile is useful when the next step is a question, a decision or a review: capture a feature idea between meetings, understand a customer’s reported problem, ask about a design risk or follow a task already running elsewhere. Attachments and voice input help preserve the supporting detail while the question is fresh.
The phone does not need a copy of your desktop development environment. Project-aware execution occurs in an available connected workspace or an eligible managed Cloud environment. The mobile client keeps the conversation, status and required decisions accessible. A remote request does not grant permission to publish, deploy or modify unrelated resources.
Organize work that spans devices
Section titled “Organize work that spans devices”Chat Collections keep related conversations together: for example, an incident discussion, its investigation and a follow-up review. Fork a Chat creates an independent discussion from completed history so an alternative can be explored without changing the original. These are organization and exploration controls, not approvals for execution.
Restored conversations and connected task views help you return after an interruption. Review whether a workflow is running, awaiting input, completed or failed before repeating a request. Cortex Connect maintains supported continuity, but a task requiring local project tools still needs an available connected environment.
Practical security review away from your desk
Section titled “Practical security review away from your desk”Use AI Threat Model to discuss assets, entry points and possible misuse in a proposed feature. Use AI Security Review to examine the implementation context provided to the task. Mobile is particularly useful for capturing questions and reviewing findings before returning to a larger screen for the code change.
For a customer issue, an authorized Salesforce connection can contribute case or account context; a project-management connection can supply the related engineering work. For an incident, permitted collaboration and cloud sources can help explain the situation. Each source retains its service permissions.
Turn a conversation into a useful handoff
Section titled “Turn a conversation into a useful handoff”An export can become a decision record, investigation summary or follow-up artifact. PDF preserves a readable presentation, Markdown fits developer documentation and plain text suits lightweight sharing. The system share sheet selects the destination; it does not remove confidential information from the export. Review attachments, findings and enterprise context before sharing.
Android and iPhone have different store, sign-in and subscription experiences. The platform guides describe those paths; Account & Billing explains the shared account and where a subscription is managed.
Product background
Section titled “Product background”Privacy and personalization
Section titled “Privacy and personalization”Settings include chat saving, personalization, automatic restore, a privacy filter before send, prompt guardrails and additional prompt protection. Supported Quick and Deep scans can inspect message or file context. Style Profile controls let users configure response preferences.
Availability depends on the app version, platform, account, plan and organization policy. See Across devices for continuity and Account & Billing for shared account management.
