Cortex for Android

Review and continue Cortex work from an Android device.

Cortex for Android provides mobile conversations, selected file context and connected workflow review. It is useful for capturing an objective or checking progress while away from the project workstation.

Install from Google Play using the button above or your organization’s approved distribution channel, verify the publisher, and sign in with your Cortex account.

Use Android to start or resume chats, open Chat History, review workflow progress, and respond to supported approvals. Settings include chat saving, personalization, automatic chat restore, privacy scanning, prompt protection, action-safety details, and Style Profile controls.

Attachments, pasted blocks and voice input provide ways to add context. Response modes, message editing, retry and read-aloud controls support follow-up work. PDF, Markdown and text exports use Android’s sharing experience to send a selected result to another application.

The app exposes approved MCP connections and eligible security workflows. The task center connects supported approvals and Cloud progress to the mobile conversation. Available execution depends on the chosen project environment, while Android supplies the conversation and review interface.

See the Mobile overview, MCP connectors and Cloud workflows for the capability details.

The Android workspace is designed for starting a question, capturing supporting material and returning to existing work. Markdown responses and selectable response modes support both quick clarification and a deeper investigation. Voice input can capture an idea when typing is inconvenient; attachments and previewable pasted blocks keep the relevant evidence with the request.

Exports turn selected answers or a conversation into review notes or a follow-up artifact. Android’s share sheet chooses the receiving application. Review the export for confidential context before sending it outside the team. Theme and text-size settings help adapt the workspace to the device.

Pre-send scanning can review messages and attachments for sensitive material such as credentials, tokens and personal information. Quick and supported deeper scans have different purposes; inspect warnings and choose what context to share. Prompt protection also addresses untrusted instructions.

Collections keep related chats together, and a fork can explore an alternative without changing the completed original discussion. Cortex Connect and task views let Android follow eligible work in a connected development workspace or Cloud. The phone is a conversation and decision surface, not permission to execute arbitrary commands on another device.

Your signed-in account and organization determine the enabled features. Across devices explains continuity, and mobile settings describes the saving and privacy controls.

Protect the device with a screen lock and current OS security updates. On a lost or shared device, sign out and revoke the session through your account or administrator.
