Configuration

cortex config list --provenance
cortex config get KEY --provenance
cortex config set KEY VALUE
cortex config doctor

Configuration is layered, so use --provenance to see which approved source set a value. Command-line flags override the corresponding setting for that invocation. Profiles can select organization-approved connectivity, output and interface preferences.

Credentials are not ordinary configuration and belong in the operating-system credential store. Repository instructions and skills cannot grant themselves additional permissions.

Use --offline for deterministic no-network operation. Commands requiring an online service then report that the service is unavailable.
