Browser actions and approvals

Let Cortex navigate and interact through reviewed browser capabilities.

Cortex can use supported tab and navigation actions, locate grounded visible controls, click, type or replace text, select an option, send a supported key, scroll, and wait for a page condition.

  1. Cortex observes the current document.
  2. Discover identifies the visible control relevant to the request.
  3. The browser confirms that the page and control are still current and usable.
  4. Cortex performs the approved action and observes the result.

If the page changes, Cortex observes the current page again before proceeding. Text entry does not implicitly submit a form.

Submission, external messaging, purchases, account changes, uploads, downloads, tab close, Enter-based submission and sensitive text require explicit review.
