Enable Cortex Cloud

Check entitlement, project and runner readiness before managed execution.

An organization administrator enables Cortex Cloud and the permitted validation targets. Users also need an eligible project, supported source access and the required role.

From Cortex CLI, run:

cortex cloud readiness

In another Cortex client, open the Cloud target or validation view and check readiness. A ready response confirms the feature and runner are available; it does not approve a specific handoff or action.

If Cloud is unavailable, check your subscription, organization policy, project access and connector status. Do not send source credentials or provider tokens in a prompt to work around a readiness failure.
