Progress is an ordered workflow stream. Reconnect from the last cursor; Cortex deduplicates replayed events. A client-side spinner or remembered state is not authoritative.

Completed validation can include build and test outcomes, runtime health, bounded security findings, logs or other authorized artifacts. Artifact access can expire and remains scoped to the requesting identity.

Cancellation is a request, not proof that all work stopped immediately. Read the final operation state. If a mutation has an unknown outcome, use the workflow recovery action instead of starting a duplicate operation.
